the location of a county in Sarasota County, Florida, the United States

Sarasota is a popular city along the Gulf Coast in southwestern Florida. Known for its vibrant art community, excellent restaurants, unique shopping and beautiful beaches. Sarasota is a medium-sized city, but is considered the center of the culture in West Central Florida. The city has a urban flavor that is unique to large cities and Florida cities.

understanding

The Asoro Theater, the Florida West Coast Symphony Orchestra, the Sarasota Opera, the Van Wesel Performing Arts Hall and frequent art shows will join the town's cultural theme in opposition to the city's largest urban facilities in Florida. Sarasota is also home to the Ring Art Museum, the Selby Botanical Garden, New College (Florida State Higher Education School), the USF Branch, and the Ring Ring Art School.

The streets of Sarasota have several office buildings and premium downtown condominiums. The Santo Armandu Key, surrounded by Riddkey, is complemented by St. Almanz Key, which passes through Ring Causeway (a panoramic view of Sarasota Bay) and crosses the Sarasota Bay from downtown. The St. Irmans Circle is a luxury outdoor shopping area, and has several cafes that suggest Europe. The idea for St. Almands was thought of by John Ringling, who was planning to build the Ritz Hotel on the long boat key. Today, Sarasota has a Ritz Hotel in downtown and a Longboat Key Club in its original Ringling site. The Longboat Key Club is located just north of Saint Armans on the Longboat Key in two golf courses equipped with tennis and all other resort facilities.

The beautiful white beach on the beach is a big attraction in this area. The Siesta Key Beach is consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches on Earth. (Siesta Key is also the site of Home Today Fame's Christie and Brian's marriage.) The beaches of the Crescent, Turtle Beach, Lido Beach, and Longboat Key, 15 miles (25 kilometers) in length, are also as beautiful and accessible. In fact, many of the charms of sarasota have their origins in the fact that beaches are abundant and accessible.

keep ~ safe

Sarasota is a safe city, but you must always take precautions. The only real place for tourists to avoid is New Town. New Town is located close to downtown and is usually small enough to drive through during the day. However, passengers must be cautious when they go through New Town at night.

At the intersection of the five points of Main Street, Pineapple and Central Avenue, there is a good downtown park. Homeless people gather, but there is a city ordinance for outdoor bread handling and sleeping.

The northern end of Tamami Street near University Parkway is also known for the arrest of violent motels and prostitution. However, there are also university campuses, coffee shops and comedy clubs nearby, so you can walk safely.
